Eldes
Italian radar provider Eldes is showcasing a new and improved version of its WR-25XP parabolic antenna featuring 2.5° beamwidth.
In contrast to the previous 3.2° offset Cassegrain Antenna, the parabolic system possesses higher gain for longer-range coverage and better sensitivity, and boasts a higher angular resolution (+20%), providing sharper and more detailed weather images in addition to more accurate estimation. This has all been achieved without any changes to the previous radome dimensions.
The new antenna is supplied with the standard WR-25XP radar model at no additional cost to investors, meaning that it has one of the best price-to-performance ratios available for X-band dual-polarization Doppler weather radars on the meteorological market.
