Sommer GmbH
Sommer Messtechnik is a well-known and well-established Austrian company that has focused on developing and manufacturing high-quality measurement sensors for the environmental sector for the past 30 years, with a focus on water and snow sensors. Sommer will use Meteorological Technology World Expo 2019 in Geneva to present its innovative sensors for the environmental industry.
New products on show will include its MRL-8 datalogger. There will also be news about the new Ultrasonic Snow Depth Sensor (USH-9) which will be launched later this year.
For 20 years Sommer has been working extensively on a non-contact, radar-based discharge measurement system. With this non-contact radar, Sommer is enabling its customers to measure and monitor discharge from lean season up to extreme flood conditions. The application range for the non-contact radars is extremely wide, from permanent installations to semi-mobile (measurement campaigns) and is completely mobile. Sommer provides a solution for all kinds of applications.
