One week to go until the biggest meteorological show in the world!

Meteorological Technology World Expo 2019 is the must-attend event for any company or organization in the meteorological sector. Taking place in Geneva, Switzerland, on June 5, 6, 7, this truly global exhibition is expected to attract 175+ exhibitors and 4,000+ attendees from more than 100 countries.

Alongside the exhibition there will also be a free-to-attend conference, which will be held in the exhibition hall for the full three days of the event. The conference includes more than 40 speakers from some of the biggest names in the meteorological sector, including the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), EUMETSAT, the Finnish Meteorological Institute, Météo-France, IBM, the Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute and the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research.

This year’s event will attract additional visitors because the exhibition and conference coincide with the WMO’s 18th World Meteorological Congress (Cg-18). Congress delegates will be able to attend any presentation and visit the exhibition hall. Regular shuttle buses will run between the Congress and World Expo.

On the exhibition floor there will be a vast number of product launches for next-generation forecasting technologies – more than ever before. New products include water depth sensors from Druck, temperature and humidity probes from Campbell Scientific, ultrasonic wind sensors from FT Technologies, chilled-mirror hygrometers from Meisei, snow depth sensors from Sommer, and much more. The event will also host a technology workshop from Stevens Water on the main exhibition floor on day two, as well as a free-to-attend drinks reception hosted by Earth Networks on June 6 at 18:00.

Among the latest exhibitors to join Meteorological Technology World Expo are Azista Industries, Ercon Composites, Eumetsat, UK Met Office, Printech Circuit Laboratories, McPhy Energy Italia, China Huayun Meterological Technology Group Corporation, Calypso Instruments and Stroyproject.
