Metasphere
Metasphere’s Point Colour range of compact logger/remote terminal unit (RTU) devices come equipped with either GSM/GPRS or 3G modem capabilities.
The sensor agnostic, plug-and-play devices have been purpose built to suit harsh and hazardous environments, as well as remote locations, thanks to the combination of versatile logging and telemetry functionality with easy installation and rapid unit deployment.
The self-contained, low-cost fit-and-forget units from Metasphere exploit mainstream technologies that help minimize costs while ensuring reliability and a long product life. The Point Colour units derive all their power (including sensor power, if required) from an internal lithium battery pack to ensure a long service life with low infrastructure costs.
The Point Orange model provides real-time remote monitoring of up to five programmable sensors. It has software programmable input/output functionality for hundreds of configurable combinations and includes support for analog, digital and counter inputs. The Point Orange can also act as a Modbus master. The Point Blue RTU from Metasphere adds ATEX compliance to this feature set.
The Point Green provides a cost-effective digital-only version of the Point Orange RTU and is ideally suited to providing logging and telemetry for Modbus smart sensors.
