Hall 7.1, Porte de Versailles, Paris, Frankreich
At this year’s show, Sommer will introduce a new version of its RQ-30 non-contact radar discharge sensor. The updated version has many new features, and a new look and size.
Other highlights for the hydrology market will be the two brand-new rain (RHD) and hail (HDI) sensors. The RHD is a maintenance-free rain sensor that measures the amount of rain and works as a disdrometer to categorize rain drops. The HDI is a maintenance-free hail sensor that measures the amount of hail and works as a disdrometer to categorize hail particles.
A new sensor for snow-drift monitoring will also be introduced this year. This maintenance-free snow-drift sensor enables measurements to better understand the movement of snow either for SWE measurements, avalanche protection or for the safety of roads or railway tracks.
