AI-learning model of environmental data
meteoblue

The meteoblue learning multimodel (mLM) processing chain fuses proprietary weather models, third-party weather models and other environmental data. According to the company, it applies the latest AI technology to achieve the highest possible accuracy for any location on Earth.

meteoblue now offers localized climate change information and climate predictions based on IPCC scenarios for any location on the globe. The residents of any city can assess the local situation and outlook with two clicks. On a designated map, users can instantly see where current temperatures are abnormally high or low. Cities can obtain high-resolution temperature maps that indicate heat islands and form a baseline for adaptation measures, whose effectiveness can also be monitored via meteoblue services.

meteoblue has also added the ECMWF IFS, Met Office unified model UKMO-10/UKMO-2 and DWD’s ICON-D2 models to the mLM. This brings the total number of models processed by meteoblue to over 35. Users can inspect all models through maps and compare them locally for any location on the planet.

A Swiss one-stop shop for global high-quality weather and climate data, enabled by open data policies, meteoblue displays official weather warnings from almost 200 national and multinational weather agencies. Weather warnings are implemented in the local forecast pages and can be globally inspected via high-performance meteoblue weather maps. Users can access all details provided by the issuer of the warning.

The company also provides minute-by-minute seamless satellite imagery from 2020 onwards, covering the entire globe. The popular meteoblue global satellite composite is updated every 15 minutes and can be visualized in one-minute steps in high resolution. This is now available not only for the past 24 hours but for any 24-hour period from 2020 onward.
