First-time exhibitor Geolux, an EU manufacturer of radar-based instruments, will be showcasing its line of products for hydrological measurements. Geolux specializes in research, development and manufacturing of instruments and software for monitoring and measuring water level, surface velocity and discharge. One of the products Geolux will be presenting at the expo is the RSS-2-300W, a high-precision, non-contact, open-channel surface velocity meter. It is able to detect water flow from 0.02m/s to 15m/s, with a precision of 0.01m/s.
In addition to this renowned surface velocity meter, Geolux has recently introduced several new products that will be presented at the show. These include the LX-80, a radar-level sensor for measuring the levels of various fluids and solids (e.g. water or ice), with an accuracy of ±3mm. The RSS-2-300WL is a fully integrated instrument for level and discharge measurement. Lastly, the innovative TS-19 is a contactless sensor for ice detection and measurement of water temperature.
Along with manufacturing radar-based instruments, Geolux offers a datalogger, cloud-based software, and a camera for remote visual inspection. These products are all available separately, or in a highly integrated, compact hydrological station, with a solar panel and a battery included.
